Eric Teo Khee Hwee

ERIC TEO KHEE HWEE is the Founding Chairman of the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) Membership and Standards Recognition Board, and the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers of Singapore (IVAS). He is a practicing business valuer and was formerly the Savills Head of Business Valuation and Advisory practice in Southeast Asia. Prior to this, Eric served as the Executive Director of Ernst & Young (EY) Valuation and Business Modelling (VBM) practice and has valuable experience in both the Singapore and Australia practices. During his time with EY, he also led the EY Asia Pacific VBM Technical Standards Committee. Eric has conducted business valuation for transactions and financial reporting for companies from various industries and his clients include SMEs, GLCs, MNCs and public listed groups. Apart from his professional practice, Eric also contributes to various boards and committees, and is actively involved in the education and professional development space. He has worked with professional organisations, government agencies and regulatory bodies in Singapore and the region. Currently, he holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor with Nanyang Technological University and Singapore University of Social Sciences. He has also conducted lectures in other universities such as the City University of Hong Kong, Murdoch University and the Singapore Institute of Technology. Eric’s professional designations include CVA Singapore, Fellow CA Singapore, Fellow CA ANZ, Fellow CPA Australia, Fellow RICS and Senior Fellow, FINSIA.

Low Buen Sin

BUEN SIN LOW is a Professor of Finance and the Associate Dean at Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University. He has been a regular contributor to finance literature in journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Futures Markets, and the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting. Professor Low has also been the recipient of numerous awards for outstanding teaching. His areas of expertise include valuation, derivatives and financial risk management. Professor Low is also actively involved in industry consultation and conducts training for prominent organisations across various countries. He has served on the Valuation Review Board under the Ministry of Finance and as a Council member for the Institute of Appraisers and Valuers of Singapore. Furthermore, he holds professional designations as a Chartered Valuer and Appraiser and a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.

Jason Doan Thuan Hai

JASON DOAN THUAN HAI is currently the Savills Head of Business Valuation and Advisory Department for Southeast Asia. Prior to this, he served as a Director at a Big 4 accounting firm in Singapore. His professional experience also includes working with a regional law firm and assisting in the establishment of an office as well as driving business development in an ASEAN country. Jason has more than 20 years of working experience in various financial advisory and valuation work. He has conducted valuations of companies, businesses, equity interests, ordinary shares, preference shares, options, warrants, convertible notes, SAFE and intangible assets in Singapore, USA, Vietnam and the region. He specialises in valuation for business strategy, transactions, capital market, tax, statutory and financial reporting purposes and has been involved in a number of complex valuations for dispute resolution or litigation support, with regard to the assessment of damages. He is a Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA), Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA), ISCA Financial Forensic Professional (FFP) and Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb).
