Overview

MindTap for James/Whisenhunt/Myer's CRISIS INTERVENTION STRATEGIES, 9th Edition, is the digital learning solution that powers students from memorization to mastery. It gives you complete control of your course to provide engaging content, challenge every individual and build their confidence. Empower students to accelerate their progress with MindTap. MindTap: Powered by You.

MindTap for the 9th edition has been closely examined and reworked to give students unique ways to learn and practice crisis intervention techniques. Each chapter in the learning path starts with a Knowledge Check activity, a way for students to familiarize themselves with the chapter's topic and ease into it before doing any reading. The chapter reading has embedded videos (40 total throughout the book) to help illustrate key points. Each chapter has a Did I Get It? quiz and some chapters also have video activities with quiz questions. Most chapters end with a Helper Studio activity where students will watch a video of a crisis counseling technique, write short answers to questions and then upload their own video response as a way to practice the techniques learned in the chapter. By the end of each chapter, students will have learned about a crisis-counseling situation, seen one in action and practiced one themselves.

MindTap gives you complete ownership of your content and learning experience. Customize the interactive syllabi and emphasize the most important topics.
