Jahangir Moini

Jahangir Moini, M.D., M.P.H., C.Ph.T., is a retired professor of health and science who taught at Eastern Florida State College. Dr. Moini previously served as Director of the Allied Health Programs at Everest University, where he initially established the pharmacy technician program while serving as program director. Prior to coming to the United States he served as assistant professor at Tehran University, Medical School. An internationally published author of 53 allied health textbooks, Dr. Moini devotes himself to helping students successfully prepare for a variety of health-related careers.

Jennifer G. Schnellmann

Dr. Schnellmann is a pharmacologist/toxicologist in the Colleges of Pharmacy and Medicine at the University of Arizona. She directs the Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences undergraduate degree program. Dr. Schnellmann earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lyon College in Batesville, AR and a PhD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the FDA/National Center for Toxicological Research in Jefferson, AR, she held various roles in scientific publishing and teaching.

Mandana Naderi

Dr. Mandana Naderi, PharmD, MPH, BCIDP, is a board-certified infectious diseases pharmacist and Medical Science Director at Paratek Pharmaceuticals. Before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, she served as an assistant professor with the R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy at the University of Arizona. In this role, she worked as a public health pharmacist and was the Lead Antimicrobial Stewardship Expert and co-chair of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Subcommittee at the Arizona Department of Health Services in Phoenix, Arizona. She served as a Clinical Therapeutics Lead during the COVID-19 and Mpox public health emergency response efforts. Dr. Naderi earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Washington, her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Washington State University and her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Arizona. She completed post-graduate pharmacy residency training at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and a specialized residency in infectious diseases at the University of Arizona/Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona.

Lawrence York

Dr. Lawrence York, PharmD, BCIDP, BCPS, AAHIVP, is a board-certified infectious diseases pharmacist working in the University of Arizona’s Petersen HIV Clinics as a clinical pharmacist. He works in tandem with infectious diseases, physicians and clinical coordinators to provide collaborative care for people with HIV and individuals seeking pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). Additionally, he works with an infectious diseases physician to provide collaborative infectious diseases care via telemedicine to several department of corrections facilities in the state of Arizona. Working with the Pacific AIDS Education Training Center (PAETC), he helps deliver several teaching sessions on facets of HIV care for practitioners interested in getting more involved in the care of this community. Dr. York received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Arizona, which also later awarded him his doctor of pharmacy degree. His first year of post-graduate residency training was completed at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System and his second, specializing in infectious diseases, at Banner University Medical Center, Tucson.
