Jack Erjavec

Jack Erjavec has become a fixture in the automotive textbook publishing world. He has decades of experience as a technician, educator, author and editor, and he has authored or co-authored more than 30 automotive textbooks and training manuals. Erjavec holds a master's degree in vocational and technical education from The Ohio State University, and he spent 20 years at Columbus State Community College as an instructor and administrator. A long-time affiliate of the North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT), he also served as executive vice-president for the organization and spent several years on its board of directors. Erjavec is also associated with ATMC, SAE, ASA, ATRA, AERA and other automotive professional associations.

Michael Ronan

Michael Ronan has taught automotive drive train courses in the Alfred State College Automotive Department for thirty years. He arrived at the college after working as a Rolls Royce technician and owning a transmission shop. A member of the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association for 28 years, he has been a testing proctor for that organization during that entire period. Ronan holds a bachelor's degree from SUNY Fredonia and has attended hundreds of hours of manufacturer and industry training. He has served the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) for 15 years as a subject matter expert in the development of both the A2 Automatic Transmissions/Transaxles and the A3 Manual Drive Train & Axles certification tests. He currently serves on the NATEF team reinventing the ASE recertification process. Ronan has also served as an automotive textbook and online resource reviewer on many projects, and he continues to work as a drive train specialist in summer months.

Justin Blevins

Justin Blevins is an ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician (A1-A8) and has several other ASE certifications including Maintenance and Light Repair Technician (G1), and Medium/Heavy Truck Technician (T8, T6, & T5). He is an instructor at the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Blevins attended the University of Northwestern Ohio and earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in automotive/high performance technology as well as a diploma as an Alternate Fuels Technician. He has several years of automotive service experience at the retail level, as well as dealership experience. He has been an instructor at the University of Northwestern Ohio since 2012 and has a Bachelor of Science degree in specialized studies from UNOH as well.
