Cengage has developed a new courseware platform to replace the iLrn platform. The MindTap platform offers several benefits, including an easy-to-follow learning path, media-rich activities, collaboration tools and a mobile app for learning on-the-go.

Cengage offers MindTap for select textbooks. For most, the new platform is already available. We invite you to create an instructor account or sign in to your existing Cengage account and search for the MindTap edition of your current textbook. If your textbook will not have MindTap, we encourage you to consult with your Account Executive.

Your iLrn, eSAM or iLrn Advance courseware will be fully supported until December 31, 2020; however, the Fall 2019 academic semester will be the last semester in which a new multi-term sequence (101, 201, X01 courses) may initiate. In Spring 2020, only students and instructors who activated their access by October 15, 2019, will be supported. This will enable students to complete their introductory or intermediate language sequence in the same platform and program. No new 101, 201, X01, etc. courses will be allowed in the iLrn platform after Fall 2019.

We will accommodate new instructors who are teaching later semesters with iLrn, eSAM or iLrn Advance courseware. For access, new instructors should contact their Account Executive.

Students who transfer or place into second to fourth terms of iLrn, eSAM or iLrn Advance may purchase one-term access via Cengage Customer Service.

The textbook and-when applicable-activities manual with supporting audio and video will be available for purchase.
