VET assessments

Customisable premium Assessment Packs can be purchased separately to help institutions design, develop and administer assessments more effectively and efficiently.

Created by the Kearns team for the new CHC Training package, this is a collection of assessment tasks that have been mapped against the units of competency.

The team aims to meet the requirements of the Training Package, while also meeting the needs of the beginning educator.

For each unit of competency, the customer will receive:

  • Observation Task
  • Knowledge Task - Assessor Version
  • Knowledge Task - Student Version
  • Workplace Task - Assessor Version
  • Workplace Task - Student Version
  • Mapping

Trainer versions include marking guidelines. Student versions contain some examples to help them answer questions, and blank templates where needed. (e.g., lesson plan templates).

All the assessments are in Word format. This means that the institution can edit and replace tasks to suit their students and institution requirements. Institutions can add their own logos, give the materials to students in hard or soft copy, or copy the content into their LMS.
